Pint of Science Festival (3 Nights!)
Join us in Kent for the Pint of Science Festival. North Water Brewing is proud to host the Kent location of this international science festival. Three days of Science: May 18-19-20 at North Water Brewing, 7:00 to 9:00 PM each day, doors at 6:30 PM. Organized by a team of Kent State Grad Students and Faculty.
Pint of Science is an annual, global science festival spanning over 500 cities in 27 different countries around the world. Three amazing days back to back to back with different local speakers and themes each night, from 5/18-5/20, the NWB Taproom will open at 4PM and event seating begins at 6:30PM each night. Food trucks will be on site if you get hungry!
The festival aims to deliver interesting and relevant talks on the latest science research in an accessible format to the public in places like bars, breweries, coffee shops, etc. Pint of Science is run by a network of thousands of volunteers who are passionate about bringing discoveries and research to people in an accessible, semi-formal presentations. No prior knowledge is required for any of the presentation topics.
